Charging Port Repair — Central Florida
Charging Port Repair in Apopka: We Fix What Will Not Hold a Charge
When a laptop only charges at the right angle, or stops charging all together, the port or the power path has worn out. We test it, find the part that is failing, and replace it, so the machine holds a charge the way it is supposed to.
What We Fix When It Will Not Charge
Laptop Charging Ports
The worn or loose port on the side of a laptop, replaced so it holds a charge without the plug fighting you.
MacBook Charging Fixes
A MacBook that will not charge, or only charges through one port, tested across the power path and fixed at the right level.
Power Jacks & Brackets
A jack that has pulled loose, or a bracket that snapped when the cord got caught, pulled, cleaned, and re-seated or replaced.
Board-Level Power Work
When the port is fine but the power path after it is not, we chase the trace, the fuse, or the component that is actually blocking the charge.
Charger & Adapter Testing
We test your adapter and the laptop separately, so you know which one is failing before anything gets replaced.
Post-Repair Charge Test
The laptop is charged, drained, and charged again before it leaves, so the fix is proven and not just hoped for.
The Laptop That Only Charged at a Tilt
A nurse coming in from Longwood had a laptop that she could only get to charge by propping the plug at just the right angle, and she was tired of it. The port on the side had worn out from years of the cord being caught when she packed it for her shifts. We replaced the port, ran a charge test, and it held a full charge the way it was supposed to. She did not have to buy a new laptop or keep a spare charger stashed in her bag.
