The Laptop That Died on a Deadline

A realtor working out of an office on US-441 brought in a laptop that had died right before a listing was due. The screen went black, the power button did nothing, and the drive would not show up. We pulled the drive, found the head was failing, and copied every file, photos, contracts, and the listing in the works, onto a new drive before the head gave out for good. She hit her deadline, and we put her back on a working machine the same day.
