A woman from a neighborhood off I-4 called because her home office had stopped working all at once. The computer was slow, the printer would not find it, and the files from an old laptop were scattered across three places. We came out, set the computer up clean, moved the files to one place, and got the printer back to printing. She was back at work by the end of the day, and she did not have to figure any of it out alone.
That is what local tech support is for. We are a shop on Hunt Club in Apopka, and we help with the computers around us. Most of the time we can sort the smaller things over the phone or screen, and when a machine needs a pair of hands, we come to it.
